The letters... to one "far away..."

.....It is because my heart went out to you when I saw one of your articles that I felt to write to you direct and share, in love and gentleness, what has been given us. ...It is not so much as by what we write that our heart knows or feels anything we are not heard for our many words, but by what the LORD, himself, is writing deep within our spirit for his own joy and glory; and for ours, in knowing one another after the Spirit, and not after the flesh.
As for little book, so far I know of only one person who has been found who is able to read it without rejecting it or misappropriating its truth; for it is the light which is against us: the light which shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not: for of ourselves we cannot know on which side of the line we stand; we know not our own hearts, even if we think we do. It is not what we say that makes us true. The message of little book is bitter even while it is sweet: if we have no experience of its bitterness we have not experienced its truth. “Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.  ...Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.”
Although complete and fulfilled in the Lord, my beloved, and having everything I need in him alone, on earth I am lonely: because when I look for fellowship with other believers I do not find it. Of course, they say all the right things and the right words, many beautiful and ‘powerful ’ words, but they are far from him and they do not know it.

It is mostly through the inner pain of losing what I want that I find him.  If you should find yourself being torn to pieces inside and your dreams in tatters you are of all men most blessed... ... ...

With this letter little book is sent and a bundle of writings with much love.

     No reply.
